Hello, I’m Baily Schmeltzer, a passionate software developer with a Bachelor's degree in Software Development from Western Governors University (WGU), which I proudly earned in June 2023. With a solid foundation in programming and problem-solving, I’m eager to apply my skills and knowledge to real-world projects and begin my professional journey in the tech industry.

Throughout my academic experience, I honed my skills in software development, learning various programming languages and frameworks to build efficient, user-friendly applications. I am particularly passionate about coding challenges and creating solutions that address complex problems. My training at WGU has equipped me with the ability to work independently, think critically, and collaborate in team environments.

WGU taught me how to be self-sustained in my learning. My coursework was primarily self-taught, utilizing my ability to learn and excel quickly. I finished a 4-year program in just under 2 years, while becoming proficient in languages such as HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, and SQL. I also believe this experience reflects my ability to learn any language, allowing me to adapt and fit into any project.
